The flowers are so pretty! And the flag reminds me of when I was running the Vermont City Marathon and they had a huge flag around mile 20. I'm not usually patriotic, but I was so excited to be doing the race that I blew a kiss to the flag as I ran under it :)

I am married with 3 boys, ages 17, 13, and 10. I worked in advertising and financial marketing for 12 years and was a free-lance writer. I am now semi-retired but keep busy with art classes, volunteer work, and competitive running. Would like to go back to work as a writer when my youngest gets older.

That flag pic reminds me of the Thanksgiving Manchester Road Race. Just need to add 12,000 people..
Congratulations Emmy despite the conditions you did an oustanding job and of course congratulations for winning your age group.
do you know that I never noticed the flowers :(. I remember the cranes but for the life of I just can't remember the flag :(.
