Even though it's not Feb. yet, this image of my sleeping cats (one big fluffy cat is missing) struck me as one of true togetherness -haha -or is it that they are wishing winter away???
Your cats are really cute! Is the picture of Tarzan and Lydia? Are they genetic siblings?
Our cats snuggle alot in winter, although I think it is because we have our heat set moderately low...in fact at night on occasion we get all of our 3 cats under the covers with us, which is nice.
Tammy --these are shelter cats --believe it or not, they were each n a cage for 4 years:((( --in a no-kill shelter. It just shows that cats really need a good home, and shows that they can adjust to a home!! I close my door as they would sleep by my head...
Speaking about cats sleeping on heads, Tristan has our biggest cat: Zaboo ("Boo") sleep on his head a lot. In fact Boo frequently kneads Tristan's head at night (usually 2 in the morning when we're all trying to sleep, thus Tristan's girly shrieks wake us all up!). This is apparently a bit painful because Boo has all his claws (and he's not afraid to use them!)
I am married with 3 boys, ages 17, 13, and 10. I worked in advertising and financial marketing for 12 years and was a free-lance writer. I am now semi-retired but keep busy with art classes, volunteer work, and competitive running. Would like to go back to work as a writer when my youngest gets older.
