Since I do take 2 art classes --a drawing and a 'nature' watercolor class, I do try and have fun with this hobby and this spring I pledge to be a better student and work on homework...LOL. My watercolor class is having an exhibition at the Garden center building and so I have to really come up with 2 paintings by the May 8 receiving date!
quick pansy sketches
bird's nest and mussel shells
spring frog
prismacolor yellow flowers
Old brick house on Round Hill road

Wow, those are wonderful! You are very talented. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Emmy,
Your pictures are always so beautiful. And the VT100 scenes are lovely. All the beauty and none of the sweat, pain or lightening!
And I love the pictures of your cats...but now I am a bit confused. Do you have 3 cats (Tarzan, Lydia and Softy). I think Softy has not been pictured on your blog before (or else I mistook him/her for Lydia or Tarzan). Is he/she a new addition or just shy or skittish? Do you have more than 3 cats?
nice work Emmy, beautiful paintings.
Tammy --I took out the VT 100 scenes as I don't like them --reminds me of the heat and humidity -ha. Better stick to spring motifs. I have 3 cats ! I had 5 but my 2 older cats died last year (ages 16 and 17)--:(
Softy is a big sweetheart but he doesn't like to be picked up. I trapped him 7 years ago --had been feeding him and he was a stray. He loves to sit with me while I am on the computer and purrs loudly...he loves to be scratched!! The cats all get along well!! Oh, I'll post some cat paintings!
Your cats are very talented. Most do not pain that well :]
ohh sigh. You are so talented in every way! mmmm you and i were going to do some art together, weren't we?
